On Sunday November 23, an American Airlines flight diverted due to a fume event in an Airbus A321.  The flight departed from Orlando, Florida and was bound for Phoenix, Arizona.  However it landed at George Bush International Airport due to fumes in the cabin. Four crew members and one passenger were hospitalized as a result.

This is yet another disturbing instance of a fume event causing injuries and hospitalization.  Our office is now handling a dozen of these cases and they are persisting across multiple airlines, primarily in Airbus aircraft with the same or substantially similar Auxiliary Power Unit models. Sadly, this is causing flight crew and passengers alike to become ill and has not been rectified.  We at The Devers Law Firm are working to make this known, and provide representation to those who have experienced injuries due to this occurrence.  If you have experienced a fume event that caused you harm we would be happy to speak with you.
